PHS Racquet

Portland High School's Annual Literary and Arts Magazine is recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English. Poetry, stories, essays, musical compositions, art and photography are submitted by students in the Fall and Winter. Editors and staff of the Racquet select pieces through an anonymous judging process. Selectioned compositions are matched to student art and photography to create the final magazine. The Racquet is printed by Portland City Hall Print Shop, and comes out in May, in time for Graduation. All students are welcome to join the staff, and to submit work and art. Racquet meetings are Tuesday afternoon at 2:20 in the library. For more information, check in Room 211, or call 874-8250.
